Funding to Create Opportunities for Young People to Engage with Arts (London)14th May 2024

Grants of up to £5,000 are available to state schools (including special and nursery schools) in Barnet, Brent, Camden, Ealing, Hammersmith & Fulham, Harrow, Kensington & Chelsea, and the Cities of London and Westminster to collaborate with arts organisations to expand young people's access to the arts.

Priority is given to collaborations focusing on young people from underrepresented backgrounds.

The funding, which is being made available through John Lyon's Charity’s Cultural Capital Fund, will support high-quality, in-person arts activities such as visits to art galleries, museums, and theatres and workshops provided by museums, galleries, and theatres.

Applications from nurseries that are registered charities will also be accepted.

Applications should be received at least ten weeks before the activity.
