Community Partnership Programme to Tackle Food Poverty & Support the Elderly (UK)16th May 2024

Groundwork and One Stop Stores have teamed up to deliver the One Stop Community Partnership Programme, which supports groups and organisations working within 2 miles of a One Stop Store.

This programme is designed to support community groups or organisations which are;

• Tackling food poverty
• Supporting the vulnerable
• Supporting the elderly
• Supporting low-income families
• Supporting local sports teams
• Improving the local environment
• Reducing Waste in the community

The programme provides partnership and financial assistance. Alongside a grant of up to £1,000, the One Stop Community Team and One Stop Store Team create a long-term tailored support programme for successful applicants. Grant recipients then partner with the One Stop Store Team at their local shop to deliver this programme.

Applications will be welcomed from various organisations including voluntary/community organisations, registered charities, schools, health bodies, Parish/Town councils, social enterprises, Community Interest Companies.

The next application period will run from the 3rd June 2024 until the 26th July 2024.
